War In The Neural Zone

The Sodium Ion Bullet Unfriendly Fire

The Arizona shooter was a problem waiting to happen. Sodium Ion bullets were firing randomly in his neural zones for a long time. Authorities knew about it, but could not make peace within him. Thousands of such conditions are happening with children taking guns to school and shooting at their teachers.

What is the problem? Disjointed Mental Concentration is the problem! Professor MOmOH (The Man Who Knows Everything) identified the problem long ago and only he has the solution! Fix these concentrations, solve the pain. Save society!

Here is how he solves the problem with “The War In The Neural Zone”. He uses the ancient African method. It is the Eye Of Heru code. With this method professor MOmOH shows you all the hidden functions of the two brain hemispheres. Your left and right brains as well as the Corpus Callosum. The Corpus Callosum is the material that connects the two hemispheres and facilitates interhemispheric communication.

Observe the organic numbers that you see in the video projecting out of the Ion image. These numbers actually traverse inside the left brain and then they initiate more waves inside the vesicles in the left brain. These waves then begin to attract nerves within your Corpus Callosum straya.

So in affect you have the numbers and waves constantly going from left brain through straya Corpus Callosum to right brain. What the Eye of Heru does is it sends out force fields. These force fields are waves. The waves traverse every memory bringing solutions.

Observe the video with the two brain hemispheres with the different color waves passing back and forth between. The solution to these problems comes with the different harmonic waves and colors that you see. There is a very interesting dynamic happening within your brain that traditional MRI machines will not measure.

At the Dohgon University of Thought they don’t play games with your brain. They don’t fool around with all that fake “read your mind” stuff. What they do is they give you a very abstract system that works. That is what you and your child are going to get with the Dohgon solution.

Professor MOmOH has designed a six step approach to completely resolve the problem.

0) Steady visual scanning and viewing
1) Skilled Corpus Callosum Information Processing
2) Left-Right Brain Referencing
3) Left-Right Brain Collaborative Effort
4) Eye-Hand Conscious Implementation
5) Speech-Sound Conscious Implementation

Non Invasive Healing

PET scan of a human brain with Alzheimer's diseaseImage via Wikipedia
Do you suffer from Depression, PTSD(post traumatic stress disorder), Anxiety, Fear, Autism or Alzheimer's. Do you believe that you can ever be healed without medicine? NO? Allow me to introduce you to professor MOmOH, the man who knows everything about the human mind. His discovery of the basic formulas for human thought, memory, and concentration has enabled him to decipher the codes to the dark universe known as the human mind.

Prof MOmOH is a direct descendant of the Dogon people of Mali West Africa. The Dogon are proven to have extensive knowledge of astrology way before modern technology. For instance, they knew that the star Sirius which is the brightest star in the night sky is actually a binary star. It wasn’t until the mod 19th century that astronomers actually proved it.  Professor MOmOH traces his lineage back to his great great great grandfather who thought at the universities in Timbuktu.

At 63 years old Prof MOmOH has been an engineer and mathematician for over half of his life. In that time and through his fascination for numbers he developed many formulas for complex problems that he encountered in his career. However, it wasn’t until 1984 that he experienced a “eureka” moment where everything started to unravel and the understanding of the inner and outer universes started to make sense.

Living in Los Angeles California at the time of the 1984 Olympics prof MOmOH decided to document and study the performance of every athletes that was competing in the event as possible. After the event was over he charted and studied all his data he had compiled. It was then that he discovered that there were 5 zones of mental concentration which determined the achievement of each individual athlete.

Today professor MOmOH has the answers that will cure any sickness and even explain the creation of the universe itself. He works with ADHD youth and people of all ages and cultures. He has founded a school called The Dohgon University Of Thought where he lectures, teaches, and does online correspondence. He has developed the The Pineal Gland Tester Gauge which is the only method in the world for measures your Serotonin syndrome and Melatonin Symphony ratios.

Too much Serotonin causes a syndrome that leads to diseases that are characterized by speeding heart beats from which the following symptoms emerge: fear and flight, anxiety and anger, stress and frustrations, and doubt and insecurities. Serotonin is responsible for everything that destabilizes and disorients you.

Melatonin on the other hand harmonizes your inter and intracellular rhythms by increasing your motivation to think constructively and productively. Melatonin gives you joy and make you feel good about yourself because it's your neurotransmitter of: reason, constructive communication, care, concern, patience and morality.

So you are probably saying to yourself, “well what proof does he have?” Professor MOmOH has first hand experience that his non invasive medical cures work because he has cured himself and countless others over the past 25 years. He has healed himself of a partially paralyzing stroke and cured an 82yr old woman of Alzheimer’s disease. These and many more amazing accounts can be found on his website at   http://www.dohgonuniversity.com. Also see his many videos at you-tube.

Professor MOmOH is so confident that he challenges anyone to dispute his knowledge. Think you know more about the mind, the universe, and the building blocks of life? Professor MOmOH says you don’t and through his use of simple NUMBERS he can heal you and teach you what you need to know for a happier, healthier and more productive life.

How To Achieve Goals Using Metaphysics

Mankind has entered a new phase of extraordinary spiritual awakening. Many individuals are
becoming aware that the unseen forces that govern nature are also affecting us. We may believe that we have dominion over nature but in reality we are not exempt from its pulling and pushing forces. Furthermore, we are learning that many of these forces can be affected by us far more than we realize.

There are three main forces that can be found anywhere in nature. They are magnetism, electricity, and gravity. Our life energy is sustained through the continuous interaction of all three. What we are beginning to find out is that we can attract anything that we desire if we know how to correctly tune your life energies.
When we think, millions of tiny neurons send electrical sparks between each other. This sparking creates an electrical field that is our mind. You can strengthen your minds electrical field by increasing your knowledge. Your heart is a magnetic field. The strength of the field is enhanced through signals from your brain and results in the Emotions you feel. Love, hate, fear, and guilt, are just a few. Gravity is a force of attraction only between bodies that have mass.

How it works. The mind generates an electrical field. This field charges up the heart magnet and an electromagnetic field is formed. That electromagnetic field builds up a gravitational field that attracts energy from the outside world. If you leave home in the morning feeling happy you will encounter happy people. Whatever mood you are in that is the kind of people and things that you will attract to you.

So if we can attract anything we desire then why don't we? The main reason why you don't is because you cannot fake karma. One of the main principles of Karma says (You attract to you what you are not what you want). That is; if you want to find love but you are not a loving person then you will only attract others like yourself who do not love. Work on changing your character first. It is a likewise formula for attracting wealth. You have to program your gravitational field by seeking knowledge in the field of your desire. Also start learning the ways of the wealthy and emulate them.

Doubt also plays a very large art in the process of desire fulfillment. Once you set forth in programming an attraction you cannot have doubt. If you apply for a job and you are not confident in your abilities to perform that job you will counter oppose your gravitational field by producing doubt. With the production of doubt you will begin to feel that you will not get the job. Negative energy now assures that you won’t get the job.

Putting it into practice. First you start by training your mind to focus on one thing at a time. Simply pay attention to the things in plain sight, do not let your mind wonder. You can practice using the disciplines found in meditation. The next step is to replace wishful thinking with positive intent. You have to believe that your desires will be fulfilled. Now set a time period for your goal. For example, It is the beginning of the month and you see that you will need $3000 to pay your bills at the end of the month but you will definitely not have the full amount.

Program your gravitational field by visualizing yourself having the money at the end of the month. Next, put it to the back of your mind and do not dwell on it. Dwelling on it creates doubt which will reprogram the gravity field to produce the product of your doubt and not what you desired. Every time the problem floats to the surface you reinforce it with positive affirmations and forget about it.

Maintain a positive outlook on life at all times. Your Gravitational Field affects everything from people to nature and any situation with manipulative variables. Practice as much as you can and soon you will notice positive changes in your mental, spiritual, and physical development as well as the achievement of many of your goals.

Terrorism

Terrorism is classified as the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion. By using terrorism individuals and/or organizations attempt to bring light to a political cause, end an economical condition, or to resist an opposing religion or ideology.

Terrorists believe that they have no alternative options to counter what is usually a very larger opponent such as the government, a financial institution, or a Religion. I liken it to the "Davis and Goliath" scenario in the bible. Terrorists often have no problem killing and maiming random civilians at random places and at random times to achieve their goal or give publicity to their causes. In return, terrorist believe the publicity resulting from the act will cause more violence and uprisings. Eventually, terrorists believe this will force changes in favor of their political, economic, or religious views.

Political terrorism usually takes place within the confines of a country. Different political organizations develop differing political views as to where the country should be going. Lines are drawn between conservative and liberal socialist ideology. One usually blaming the others for the state of the country's poor economic and social condition. Propaganda fuels disdain until someone snaps and takes matters into his own hands. The terrorism can take the form of an assassination as with (JFK) or the bombing of a government building as in Oklahoma with Timothy McVeigh.

Economic terrorism occurs as an opposition to capitalist ideology. It can take place anywhere in the world and against a particular country, a Financial organization or a company. The most infamous case of economic terrorism is 911 but there are others like Oil pipeline bombings in Nigeria, and mining company bombings in south America. On Sept 11 2001 the Terrorist organization Al-Queda led by Ben Laden organized a major economic statement against the center of world capitalism, the twin towers that housed the World Trade Organization. Since then Al-Queda has vowed to attack every symbol of US imperialism anywhere in the world and has been affective or thwarted on several other occasions.

In most middle eastern countries where Islam is the major religion the country is politically subjected to strict religious and social laws. Western culture is frowned upon. Over the past 25yrs the world has changing through the insistence of Globalization. Major western corporations want into the middle east but religious fundamentalists want them kept out allowing only the oil giants to operate under strict guidelines. Over time small but well funded Islamic fundamentalist groups like Al-Queda who dislike increasing economic and cultural influence into Islamic regions have taken up the cause for the defense of Islamic values.

In Nigeria the the Oil company Shell has been the victim of several terrorist attacks over the years. tribal groups who are in opposition to the exploitation of their lands have blowing up the pipe lines that carry oil from the inland refineries to the coastal ports where the oil is loaded onto tanker ships. The conflict came about mainly because the government of the country does not adequately compensate the tribes with some of the billions of dollars that they get from the oil company. The oil company therefore bears the brunt of the terrorism while the government army is relegated to being a security force for them.

In South America where mining and farming have become major industries the native people who have been pushed off their lands further and further into the jungles are using terrorism to fight back. Not surprisingly the major companies hire ruthless security henchmen as counter measure. These henchmen have been known to massacre whole villages in a reverse terrorism stance. The severe brutality of their acts are used as a deterrent to other disgruntled tribes.

Religious terrorism is arguably the most dangerous of the three major forms of terrorism. It started thousands of years in the middle east and is the product of festering grievances between Islam, Judaism and Christianity. Religious ideology can be considered a step-father of the others because it can and does greatly influence ones political and economical views. The more religious a person is the more conservative he tends to be and the less religious the more Liberal. Conservatives are usually upset about the moral principles in relation to the lifestyle of a people and culture.

For thousands of years there have been brutal wars between the Jews of Israel and their surrounding Arab neighbors. Over time the Jews became fragmented and most were either driven out or voluntarily re-located into Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States. After the events of WW2 where aprox 2 to 5 million Jews in Europe were killed by Hitler the United Nations re-drew the map of the middle east and gave Israel back to the Jews. The Palestinian people who were inhabiting the land were pushed out to accommodate the repatriating Jews. Not surprisingly conflict imminently flared up and the UN had to support the Jews with arms to defend themselves.

The Jews who were like "David" soon became the "Goliath" of the middle east and by the 70's they were considers one of the most well armed country in the world. They still boast their own Nuclear arsenal that could obliterate any of their Arab neighbors within the blink of an eye. The Arabs, most of which are now Muslims turned to terrorism to get back at Israel. One of the most infamous incidents occurred in Munich during the 1972 Olympic games. 11 members of the Israeli Olympic team were taken hostage and eventually murdered by Black September, a militant Palestinian liberation group.

Over the years numerous acts of terrorism has been perpetuated by other religious organizations such as the IRA in Ireland but it is the Islamists that have found it to be an effective tool. For them the promise of martyrdom and eternal life at the side of God makes it easy to blow themselves up along with as much enemy as possible. With each act Muslims in the middle east and other parts of the world have become increasingly sympathetic and emboldens to the cause of their fellow Islamic brothers.

Most view the case of the Palestinians as western hypocrisy and an injustice. Although many also viewed Saddam Husein as a tyrant and a brutal dictator they also feel that America didn't take him out to help the Iraqi people but rather to get further control of middle eastern oil. Today they continue to carry out terrorist acts against each other because of tribal divisions and for betraying Islam by being sympathetic to the foreigners.

America and every country worldwide have become nervous, guarded and suspicious of it's own citizens which means that terrorism works to a certain extent. Terrorism it self was not started by Muslims and will not end with Muslims. As long as there are people who feel that their cause is worth killing for then terrorism will always exist. We can slow it down but realistically speaking I don't believe it can ever be prevented.

Child Porn

The local news headline for March 11, 2010 read, Provincial raids result in 122 charges against 35 people, including some as young as 15”. This headline though shocking is not unique. Almost every week I hear of someone getting charged with possession and distribution of child porn. The sick part is it is usually someone of influence and authority or someone entrusted with the care of children. Apparently one of the men charged is a teacher while another is a well known real estate developer.

A few months ago a Catholic bishop was held at the airport and charged with possession of child porn after security decided to check the contents of his lap top computer. Several other bishops and pastors have also faced charges over the years. Some even after many years when the victims decide to come forward.

The sad news doesn't stop there because closely related to child porn is pedophilia which is also rampant throughout society. News of another decade long investigation recently wrapped up with charges filed against former crown attorneys, top area officials and Roman Catholic clergymen for abusing several young native Indian boys and engaging in a system of cover ups.

I would think that with all the perverts that the police have jailed over the years that these guys would give up their sick per-occupation and seek help. The common question that one might ask is, why are so many grown men sexually attracted to children? Finding a conclusive answer is not as simple as asking the question however.

On one of the social networking sites that I frequent a user posted a question on how she could stop her husband from watching too much porn. His porn obsession was upsetting her because they were Christians and she considered it very ungodly. I attempted to answer her question in a way that she could relate and possibly help her husband instead of causing a fight.

I told her that she should let her husband know that God was using the devil to test him. God was only doing so because he wanted them to become stronger Christians. If her husband’s faith was strong enough he would be able to break the devils grip. A more secular answer would be for her to burn his porn collection and get him to a counselor.

In the case of child porn possession I am not so understanding. I don’t believe that pedophiles can help themselves. I believe in most cases it has to do with mental abnormalities that require medical intervention. If you are one of those that are into sexually exploiting children I would advise you to get help as there are many clinics that specialize in all forms of sexual addictions. If you continue to hide and thrive on your self denial you will be caught and thrown in jail. Hopefully you will end up being the one getting sexually abused.

Black History Month 2010

there is no AfricaImage by T U R K A I R O via FlickrSo it is the month of February, the shortest, coldest and some say the most depressing month of the year. Well at least up here in Canada. Anyway, February has been designated as Black History month or African Heritage Month in some circles. I like the latter because I feel that the word heritage allows people to connect the culture they currently practice to their African lineage. Many of us born in the west can't associate with African cultures anymore. It also negates the argument that there is no such thing as Black History. To add to that many Blacks have become so genetically “washed-out" that they don’t even identify with being Black anymore but that’s a different story.

We have probably become the most fragmented race on the planet. Islanders fight against other islanders, African countries fight against each other and, even separations along religious lines are tearing countries apart. American Blacks can't associate with Blacks on the continent and even worse is the animosity between light skin and dark skin. I associate all these problems with a basic lack of knowledge. That is why a designated month of reflection is important for those of us who are Black to take stock and for those who are not to recognize our contributions to society.

Black History month was founded in 1926 by United States historian Carter G. Woodson as "Negro History Week". Woodson chose the second week of February because it marked the birthdays of two Americans who greatly influenced the lives and social condition of African Americans: former President Abraham Lincoln and abolitionist and former slave Frederick Douglas. The tradition has grown and expanded to other countries including England and Canada.

While BHM is widely celebrated by many it has unfortunately met opposition among some Black who say African history is world history, we don’t need a month segregated from the rest. I say it is needed for the simple fact that Blacks have been explorers, scholars and conquerors throughout history yet many people do not know since most Black history has been omitted from mainstream historical records. I hear people even stating that Blacks have contributed nothing of worth to note.

Patents don’t lie and while most patents do not mean that the holder was the first to invent a device it recognizes a significant improvement to the idea that existed before. Black inventors have obtained many patents of note including improvements to the traffic light, the blood bank, and gas masks to name a few.

Last week I attended the official launch of Black History Month in the City of Ottawa at the Library & Archives of Canada. It was a tight well orchestrated two hour event attended by the Mayor and a few other dignitaries which included representatives from many of the various consulates in the Black Diaspora. It featured performances by local poets and musicians along with the presentation of achievement awards to outstanding members of the community. I was happy to be in attendance.

My heritage goes back to the island of Jamaica in the Caribbean. I identify myself as Black and my lineage is African. I do have some English heritage however as part of the remnants of slavery going back five or six generations. When the first European explorers stumbled upon the island in 1492 there were inhabitants already there. These people were of Native American lineage called Arawaks. Their generosity in welcoming the Europeans was reciprocated with colonization.

Most of the natives were turned into servants and slaves or died from European diseases while those who resisted were either killed or fled the island. Over time the Europeans brought slaves which they either captured or bought from Africa to replenish the dwindling native population. They were used in full force to grow and maintain the local agriculture that fueled a booming European economy. There were many bloody slave revolts on the island. Many slaves escaped the plantations and found refuge in the forests and mountains of Jamaica, some with the help of the Arawak Indians.

Many escaped slaves were later re-captured and taken to Nova Scotia, Canada in 1796, and later exiled from there to Freetown, Sierra Leone in West Africa. The remainders of these escaped slaves maintain a proud heritage up until this day and are known as Maroons.

Slavery in Jamaica was abolished in the mid 1800’s but the island remained a British colony until the early 1960’s when it finally gained its independence. Today Jamaica is still not a republic but remains a part of the British commonwealth  with the queen of England as its head of state.

The knowledge of African Heritage is important to blacks in many ways. In an era of continuous change where people are migrating and adapting cultures to assimilate; it is imperative to be grounded by the knowledge of ones self. As a tree cannot exist without roots one cannot properly determine ones direction unless he/she knows where he/she is coming from.

Origins of Religion

"A Venerable Orang-outang", a carica...Image via Wikipedia

I consider religion to be humanity's greatest invention. It is a means of explaining one of our basic human instincts, spirituality. That is the inherent feeling that there is something greater than ourselves.

Through research it has been determined that mankind has endured many stages in our development as well as our beliefs. We learned that in our beginnings we existed in a state of Oneness with nature called Animism. After that we became polytheistic meaning to have many gods.

Thousands of years onward we accepted a monotheistic (one god) view. But as we began to gain knowledge of the ways of nature and realized that we could manipulate certain aspects of it we came up with the theory of Evolution (survival of the fittest). Unfortunately the concept of Evolution did not knock out Monotheism but rather it sparked bitter dispute between the Church and Science.

Fast forward to the new millennium and a new theory has emerged that takes a little from all the previous concepts and goes by the name of Spontaneous Evolution. I will explain what it's about but first I will revisit the rest.

Animism
It is believed that Man has always had the instinctual idea that he and everything that exists in nature around him has a life force or spirit. Plants, animals, and even the river and the sea were believed to have a spirit. For instance, the indigenous people of the lands believed that in order to catch an animal you had to first appeal to its spirit. To catch fish you not only had to appeal to the spirit of the fish but also the spirit of river and so on. Early Man strived to live in harmony with nature never taking more than they need in order to maintain the balance. They considered their role to be that of a caretaker that tended the garden.

Polytheism
Logically as time went on we began to ponder the question of "How and why are we here". We developed many polytheistic beliefs according to our separate cultures. Some well-known polytheistic religions include the Sumerian gods and the Egyptian gods, and those of the Ancient Greek and Roman Religions. Most of the beliefs were based on the assumption that we must of been "Created" by gods who live in the heavens above and out of our sight and reach to serve out an ordained purpose here on earth. Some gods were more powerful than others while in most cases the most powerful represented the sun, moon, and earth.

Monotheism
With the introduction of the one god and one creation concept the world entered on a path toward modern civilization. Monotheism was first introduced in ancient Israel with the adoption of Yahweh (God) as the single object of worship and the rejection of the gods of other tribes and nations without, initially denying their existence. Following the death of Jesus and believing that his message was not exclusive to the Jews Jesus followers adopted and spread his message thought the late Roman Empire then the Latin and British empires.

The Arab world adapted monotheism through the writings of the prophet Mohammad who preached that this one god was also not exclusive to the Jews. His book The Holy Quran became the bases for the Islamic religion. Followers became known as Muslims. Today Monotheism is practiced by the majority of the earth’s population and is characteristic of the three major religions Judaism, Christianity, and Islam as well as many others. All of them view the same God as the creator of the world, who oversees and intervenes in all human events.

Evolution
By the 17th century the Kings and ruling classes of Europe and the Middle East thought they had a monopoly on a life of luxury by keeping the masses subservient through the authority of the scriptures. Then in the mid 1800's there appeared another concept so profound that it could not be ignored or squashed. Born out of mans continued curiosity and his experiments with nature man began to think that if he could manipulate plants and animals by cross breeding them to create new species then maybe we came to exist by the chance of nature and time.

The theory of Evolution was made popular through the publishing of the book (On the Origin of Species) by the Botanist and explorer Charles Darwin. The theory suggests that species always change and get better over time according to their ability to adapt to changes in the environment in which they live. Furthermore two major mechanisms determine which variants will become more common or rare in a species.

One is natural selection, a process that causes helpful traits (those that increase the chance of survival and reproduction) to become more common in a population and causes harmful traits to become more rare. This occurs because individuals with advantageous traits are more likely to reproduce, meaning that more individuals in the next generation will inherit these traits. Over many generations, adaptations occur through a combination of successive, small, random changes in traits, and natural selection of the variants best-suited for their environment.

The other major mechanism driving evolution is genetic drift, an independent process that produces random changes in the frequency of traits in a population. Genetic drift results from the role that chance plays in whether a given trait will be passed on as individuals survive and reproduce.

Spontaneous Evolution
2010 is here and it is quite evident that humanity as a collective has reached a period of global crisis. World population is almost at a critical mass, our food sources are dwindling, and our natural resources are running out. The world seems poised for major catastrophe but can we be saved? According to pioneering biologist Bruce H. Lipton, it's not only possible, it's already occurring. In his theory of Spontaneous Evolution, this world-renowned expert in the emerging science of epigenetic reveals how our changing understanding of biology will help us navigate this turbulent period in our planet's history and how each of us can participate in this global shift.

Instead of far fetched theories about Aliens from other planets or sub-terrain beings Lipton boldly suggests that God is Mother Nature and her only goal is balance. Through his work in molecular biology and his insights into the workings of Cells and living organisms he borrows from the theory of Evolution and goes further.

Lipton suggests that nature is not about survival or the fittest but about adaptation in order to bring about balance. He also returns to the ides that man is the caretaker of that balance since we are the only species that is able to recognize and possibly help Mother Nature to maintain its balance.

AIDS Conspiracy

Doctor injecting a patient with placebo as par...Image via Wikipedia

Is the AIDS epidemic just a profitable business project developed by the largest pharmaceutical companies and corrupt officials of international medical organizations Or is it a biological weapon intended to cull selected populations? Whatever it is there is a growing number of doctors with decenting opinions as to whether pharmaceutical companies are truly pursuing a cure.

HIV and AIDS have been a plague on society for over 30 years now. Although the disease wasn’t originally discovered in the early eighties, that is the period that it came to prominence as a potential mass killer. Almost immediately after it’s awareness came stigmatization toward the communities that it seemed to inflict the most. Gays, Black, and drug Addicts bore the brunt of that stigmatization. That is mainly because the rates of infections in those communities were statistically higher.

In the Gay community the disease seemed to spread like a wild fire. So did far fetched explanations as to the reasons. People quickly attributed it to the wrath of God instead of analyzing the free wheeling lifestyle practices of most Gays. Intravenous drug users experienced a similar fate also. Since I am neither Gay or a drug user I will focus on that which I am familiar with which is the Black experience.

In the Black community HIV and AIDS was spread rapidly due to ignorance of its severity and a lack of access to proper health care. Blacks became stigmatized as the originators of the disease by way of Africa when mainstream media began to report that researchers working in the jungles of Africa stumbled upon the deadly virus.

They reported that the HIV virus must have been passed from monkeys to humans through sexual contact. If it was passed from monkeys to human it most likely occurred by the consumption of the animal’s meat but I guess that was too logical and quickly dismissed for more sensational and racist reasons.
Blacks counteracted by accusing the government of trying to kill them off. A claim that is totally unfounded but not discounted due to many examples of past indiscretions.

Perhaps the most famous of which being the Tuskegee Syphilis Study, a 40-year government study in which 399 Black men from Macon County, Alabama were deliberately denied effective treatment for syphilis. In fact, the United States Public Health Service went to extreme lengths to ensure that they would not receive any treatment, in their words, "in order to document the natural history of the disease."

The Public Health Service leaders excuse was that with the advent of antibiotics, no one would ever again be able to trace the long term effects of the disease. The affects of Syphilis was able to be studied on how it affected the entire community over the 40-yr period. On May 16, 1997, President Bill Clinton apologized in a White House ceremony for the experiments.

Another incident occurred in 1963 when the United States Public Health Service, the American Cancer Society, and the Jewish Chronic Disease Hospital of Brooklyn, participated in an experiment where physicians injected live cancer cells into twenty-two chronically ill and debilitated African American
patients. The patients did not consent, nor were they aware that they were being injected with cancer.

During the 1970s, the government collected blood samples from seven thousand Black youths. Parents were told that their children were being tested for anemia, but instead, the government was looking for signs that the children were genetically predisposed to criminal activity. At least eighty-two "charity" patients were exposed to full-body radiation at the University Of Cincinnati Medical Center. The patients were exposed to
radiation ten times the level believed to be safe at the time twenty-five patients died. Three-quarters of the patients in the study were Black men and women. The consent signatures were forged.

Countless other experiments have been carried out within the prison system also. One unscrupulous doctor was even over heard saying,

'Criminals in our penitentiaries are fine experimental material and much
cheaper than chimpanzees."

Given the history of deceit between Blacks and the “system” it is not hard to imagine why many people continue to believe that AIDS is just another conspiracy.

The Book Of Eli

Cover of "The Book of Eli"Cover of The Book of Eli

Recently I went to see the movie The Book Of Eli. I saw a few of the commercials and the buzz about it beforehand so I became very interested in seeing this latest performance by one of Hollywood's top actors Denzel Washington. With him in any movie I immediately assume that it will offer an acceptable level of entertainment.

Well after seeing the movie I was not impressed. It started off slow and never picked up. Washington himself seemed unexcited about the role as a post apocalyptic weapon strapped loner bent on reaching “the west”. Why? Not even he knew. He claimed to heve heard a voice 30 years earlier that told him to find the last Bible, protect it with his life, and head west. He would know what to do once he gets there. The first question I asked was why he didn’t find a car to drive since there were drivable cars around.

The movie is set 30 years after what seemed like a nuclear war had wiped out 99% of the worlds population. Half the survivors were blind from the flash of the nuclear bombs while the rest and those born after had various ailments. I couldn’t figure out if Washington himself was blind because at the end it sort of suggests that he was. If that was the case then I give the writers credit for something deeper than the barbarism of the scenes.

It would mean that the bible was controlling Eli and not some god up in heaven. Lo now (The Word is an Entity whose sole purpose is to find a suitable Host). Like life itself this Entity is super resilient. Try to kill it all you want and it will find a way to cling to mans psyche and grow as a (Mustard seed). Word Life.
In the movie food and water were very scarce. Most people roamed the barren terrain in a lawless cannibalistic state. The villain is a maniacal maniac who rules a town full of these people. Washington passes through the town and ended up on the villains bad side when he kills off some of the villains henchmen.  The villain quickly finds out that Eli possesses the one thing he seeks, The Bible.

On the surface the whole movie is a blatant endorsement of the Christian faith. OK, don’t stone me for blasphemy yet. I didn’t say there was anything wrong with Christianity. I just don’t favor or endorse any religion or one over another. I believe in the Human spirit and I practice altruistic values. I have read the Bible unlike most people who claim to believe in it yet practice bigotry and hate. Like the movie suggests the Bible has power but not supernaturally. It gives insights into human nature that once understood could be put to use in controlling or assisting the human condition.

Let me get back to Mr. Eli and why the movie didn’t make sense to me. In the movie they blame religion for the destruction of the world so subsequently all bibles and religious writings were systematically destroyed. The villain was actively searching for a copy of the bible because he knew that with it he could rule the masses and build an empire that worshiped him. Eli had the last bible, a King James Version and his mission was to bring it out to the west cast where God would tell him what to do.

To me it seemed like what the makers of this movie was implying was that God had destroyed the world because man had corrupted it with all kinds of false religions so God was set on re-directing humanity into the hands of his “chosen people” the Christians. I hope they don’t intend to show this movie in any Muslim countries because it could easily be mis-understood.

All in all I would give this movie two out of five stars. One star for Washington and another star for the only scene that touched me. That was when the villain shot Eli (Washington) and he fell then rose up again before finally collapsing into the dirt. I saw possibilities of greatness that was unfortunately not present throughout the rest of the movie.

ORBS

A few months ago I received an email from someone at YouTube named stanley03061973 and it read “Orbs attacking me”. At first I thought it to be another spam but from YouTube? I have a YouTube account yes, but no one other than the admin had ever sent me mail from there before. So I decided to see what it was about.

Upon visiting the link I found that stanley03061973 had a YouTube channel completely full of videos dedicated to these balls of light that he calles orbs. He sits in his living room in the middle of the night video taping these orbs flying all about his house. Some Orbs flew in all directions while some stood still . They came through walls, the ceiling, the window, and even the floor.

“This has got to be a hoax”, I thought to myself. This fool is out in the outback of Australia getting drunk and seeing things. These Orbs must be dust particles or something similar, maybe even a camera trick he found out how to perform. Stanley anticipated skepticism from his viewers so he set up several forms of proof for his discovery. In one video he used a fan to show that the blowing air had no affect on the flight or direction the Orbs were moving in. He also took his camera outside his house to show that they were outside too.

In several videos Stanley attempted to show that some of the Orbs morphed into human-like faces as they flew. He pointed out other faces that didn’t move at all but just stood still watching the activity in the room. Perhaps his most unbelievable claim was that he could talk to the Orbs and some of them were talking to him.

After awhile I decided to check if Stanley and his Orbs was a unique phenomenon. I did several searches and found hundreds of similar videos and pictures of these Orb things. I then decided to check some of my own videos and pictures for them. I did find some including the ones in these image below.

These pictures with Orbs were took in early February at a Bob Marley birthday tribute I went to. In the first picture you see the Orb come across over the picture on the wall. Then it sat above the guy recording the event. Later when the show was done several Orbs gathered around the artists on stage. They are not as bright as the other picture however. If you blow up the picture you should be able to see them. I thought they were light affects but not all the pictures I took that night had them. I only posted some of those that did.

Whatever these Orbs of light are there doesn’t seem to be any known conclusive explanation as yet. As for stanley03061973, he continues to send me emails and I continue to check them out. I haven’t decided what to make of this phenomenon yet. Please check out Stanly's site on YouTube.

America's Health Care Dilemma

Supporter of a single-payer health care plan d...Image via Wikipedia
America’s health care dilemma is about to come to a dramatic conclusion within the next few hours. Senators in Washington are set to cast their votes on president Obama historic health care bill that promises to provide access to affordable healthcare for approximately 30 million un-insured citizens.

Conservatives who have been dead set on killing it from the start have been whipping their supporters into a heated frenzy in all facets of society. For months the offices of democratic senators were bombarded with letters, phone calls, and even threats in relation to the Bill.

On right wing radio I heard Limbah say “We have to kill it before it gets passed or we won’t be able to touch it afterwards.” While many people side against it for political and ideological reasons there are many others who simply tag along for more frivolous reasons such as, they just don’t like Obama.

America’s health care system is arguable the best in the world. It functions on a system developed through Capitalism and Free Enterprise. The problem is it is vulnerable to corruption in many ways. There have been many cases of people losing there coverage if they are chronically ill. Some people have to mortgage their homes in order to pay their high hospital bills. There are still others who have to make heart wrenching and unethical decisions as to whether they should keep their severely ill family member on life support or lose their life savings in paying the medical bills.

The main characters in the health care system are; Doctors, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and insurance companies. All the main players have become tight partners in exploiting the public’s health issues. While some conservatives might agree to this to a certain extent their main issue is excessive government involvement in one of America’s key liberties, free enterprise. They believe that companies should be allowed to make a profit without the government trying to socialize how they operate. If people cannot afford health premiums they need to take it upon themselves to do better in life. Improve their education, get better jobs, stop complaining and stop relying on government hand outs.

Doctors are well educated, highly paid, and do a very good job but unfortunately most are at the mercy of the system they work in. Most doctors prescribe and administer drugs provided by the hospitals they work for. The hospitals have deals with selected pharmaceutical companies. These pharmaceutical companies provide an array of drugs and medical supplies to the hospitals. They develop drugs in their own facilities and by aligning themselves with universities around the country where they do research and development. New drugs are often tested in these schools and in the hospitals they partnered with.

Insurance companies are singled out as the bad guy in the whole system. When someone with insurance gets treated in the hospital, (usually the hospital that the insurance company deals with) the insurance company picks up the bulk of the bill. Insurance companies have thousands of clients paying anywhere from $200 to $2000 per month depending on their coverage. Most people are covered through the companies they work for. The company covers part and the employee picks up the rest. A select number of others are covered by the government through medic-aid. The government also picks up the tab for uninsured emergency care that people cannot afford to pay for out of pocket.

The problem with the health insurance industry is that most insurance companies have turned into unethical money hungry monsters. They collect money from people for years to provide assistance in times of illness but when that assistance cuts into their profits they look for ways to dump their problem clients or deny coverage.
Insurance companies see their targeting as unjustified. They argue that high premiums are often the result of abuses in other areas. $30 for one aspirin for example is the result of the hospital knowing that a patient’s health insurance will pick up the tab. Their excuse is that everyone else inflates their prices so they have to keep up by hiking premiums.

Whatever the outcome of the vote, Americans can look forward to continuous debate and animosity surrounding the whole issue of health care. If passed it will bring many needed changes to the health care industry. Socialist or not, one thing is clear, peoples lives should not be treated as a commodity.

HAITI

The devastation currently affecting the nation of Haiti is heart wrenching. Thousands of lives were lost within minutes of the powerful earthquake. Countless more people are severely injured and psychologically and emotionally scarred for life. I personally know many Haitians and I have even traveled there in the year 1999. Through the past week or so I have been in contact with some of those people. I have also been searching my memories to recall some images of the places and things I experienced.

Upon arriving at the Port Au Prince airport ten years ago I immediately became familiar with the similarities of the Caribbean lifestyle which was not much different from my own island of Jamaica. It was a bustling environment made up of aggressive baggage handlers and taxi operators. Our pre-arranged pick-up saved us  a lot of time and hassle which enabling us a quick checked out of the airport. As someone new to the environment I couldn't help gawking at everything I saw however. I had heard so many stories about Haiti, some true and others far fetched but I came expecting any and everything.

The roads were half decent and most cars were fairly modern American, European, and Japanese. What surprised me were the amount of high end SUV's such as Isuzu troopers, Toyota Land Cruisers, and Jeeps. The people who had money obviously had plenty of it and lived in lavish homes in the hills overlooking the city. The dwindling middle class was trying to hang on for their dear lives while the poor were destitute.

Port-Au-Prince was a very overcrowded city at that time and was getting worse by the day. Thousands of people pored in yearly from the countryside to seek better opportunities in the big city. Many of whom end up living in slums or on the streets. I saw semblances of what used to be affluent neighborhoods with beautifully built homes behind concrete and iron fences. But sadly, along some roads outside the gated larger homes squatters built small shacks. It was explained to me that these shacks were built by people who recently came into the city and cannot find places to live.

The land along the road is government land so squatters build their shacks there and it's hard to move them. This problem came about through a spirit of socialism encouraged by former president Jean Bertrand Aristide who stated that all the land of Haiti belongs to the people. Most upper class people do not subscribe to that philosophy so they began plotting and conspiring on ways to oust him from office. Aristide was eventually ousted by foreign intervention mostly by the US who did not like the idea of more socialist regimes within the Americas.

Aristide was kicked out but conditions never improved. With over 50,000 people per year flooding into the city from the provinces every year how could it. Open sewers ran along most streets and huge open dumps added to the bad smell and poor sanitary conditions of the down town. Huge pigs roamed the open sewers rummaging for food to eat.

Public transit took the form of modified pick up trucks and mini vans that were well over
loaded. Benches are welded into the backs of these pick-up trucks and a make shift canopy is added over the top. They looked very dangerous to me but most people young and old had no problem cramming into them. People even stood on the bumpers as long as they found a secure place to hang on for a usually bumpy ride. The mini vans were no different in terms of the amount of people willing to cram inside. Most of these buses were elaborately painted with murals on the sides while the backs were reserved for Jesus beautifully painted with flowing blond hair and blue eyes.

I have nothing against religion except when it is over done and this was a perfect example for me. I could write a book on why I feel it is psychologically wrong to portray an image that has no similarity to the people all over the place. From what I know about Jesus he was a Middle Eastern Hebrew with bronze skin and curly woolly hair. Europeans re-made him in their image to strengthen their faith. When different cultures adopt Christianity why don't they have a more self representative image of Jesus. I don’t think you can find a blue eyed blond haired Jesus anywhere in Latin cultures.

Haiti is very religious Christian based country with Catholic being the main denomination. There are religious symbols everywhere. Everyday as I walked past many churches and other make-shift places of worship I could see and hear prayer services going on. With the level of poverty evident the people have no choice but to have faith. My problem with relying on faith alone though means that you accept your bad condition as God's will.

The house I stayed in was a solidly built concrete two story house on a back street. It had
all the fixtures of a modern house except water pressure. At one time there was water and sewer service but in recent years as infrastructure deteriorated the houses along that street lost their water service. The water source was now a single standpipe down the road. Every morning large buckets of water had to be collected and brought up to the house for the daily usage.

It sounds bad but after awhile I got used to soaping myself up then scooping smaller buckets of water from one of the big bucket that was kept in the bath room then pouring it over my head to wash off. As far as the toilet, well you simply do your business then pour in some water to wash it away to wherever.

Mornings I would go out onto the 2nd floor veranda of the house to watch the activities in the street below. Vendors would regularly pass in the morning heat displaying their wares in baskets on their heads. They would walk the streets for as long as it took to sell their items. There were fresh fruit and vegetables, ground provisions,  bread and baked goods, and even fresh fish and meats.

Anything you can go to the market to get you can expect these guys to have available at your door step. School children were my favorite to watch though. They flooded the street everyday decked in colorful uniforms of all combination to represent the schools that they attended. They reminded me of gold fishes the way they were varied and properly composed.

Electricity came and went at will but most people didn't care. Many people had gas powered generators. As soon as the electricity would cut off these noisy beasts would power up like clock work. Most people were respectful at night to turn them off though. Then kerosene lamps and candles would light up the darkness. At night when I ventured out the streets were almost as busy as the day.

Most shops were closed but people still walked about as if they had important places to go. With the amount of people and the lack of lighting I couldn't help thinking that this place should be more violent than it was but it wasn't. The people were generally very friendly and hospitable. Every home that I went to the people greeted me physically instead of just verbally. Men shook my hand while women young and old gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. That was just the tradition for ages.

I do not speak French or Creole but In general I had a great time in Haiti. I went to beaches and visited historical sites steeped in tradition and colonial history. Only afterward did I reflect on the one stereotype that had spooked me the most before I went. Haitians are known to practice witchcraft in the form of voodoo but I saw no evidence of it while I was there. It was explained later that such things are mainly practiced by country folk.

Haitians have been hardened by many hardships so I am certain that they will rebound from this current one. I offer my sincere condolences to the people of Haiti in their hour of tragedy. Gather strength and have faith that the human spirit of kindness and compassion will pull through to provide a helping hand. You are a strong and resilient people.

Kosovo Apocalypse

death is a horse
a characteristically terrifying horse
railing, trampling, nostrils flared and blowing
teeth exposed, seemingly to mock the agony of death
only frozen in time, while at the same time
inviting conversation of me
rule #1, never stare too long,
access and move on

I turn my face to the sky as if to ask why
only to be greeted by hurricane force rain that pound
at the speed of sound, tearing flesh from bone to expose
images more terrifying than a wild horse
as it came railing, trampling, nostrils flared and blowing
teeth exposed, seemingly to mock the agony of death
only frozen in time, while at the same time

time drops to slow motion
and the shallow echoes in the distance
pop-pop.... pop-pop-pop
resemble horse's hoofs against the
marble tiles at the entrance of my church
I lower my head so my helmet blocks the rain
I clear my eyes and plant my feet firmly in the tiles
it's putrid smell fills the air, finger on the trigger
I hold my breath and turn
to meet it as it came

railing trampling, nostrils flared and blowing
teeth exposed, seemingly to mock the agony of death
and I'm ready for it this time
but I awake in a cold sweat
still a slave to distress

.....in my mind

One morning some years ago I awoke with this in my head. I have re-worked it many times since then but the theme remains the same "death is a horse".

Gay Humans?

While listening to the radio this morning I caught part of a discussion on the topic of homosexuality in the African country of Uganda. Apparently homosexuality is against the law in that country. Being Gay is not against the law as long as you dont practice the lifestyle such as kissing same sex, holding hands, and most severely, having sex. The discussion centerd on a new law about to come into affect and that is, it is against the law to know a gay person and keep it a secret from the authorities. The reason given for the new measure is to control the spread of sexually transmitted diseases and Aids in particular. Being Gay and having Aids carries the charge of "aggravated homosexuality" which is punishable by death.

Such a measure could throw the country into turmoil for more than a few reasons. I can think of several but I will focus on one in particular. As a heterosexual person who's views border on homophobia most times my first reaction might of been "Good for them, the less Gays the better", but since I don't believe that being Gay is a choice 99% of the time I have to respect their human rights. My phobia stems from my moral views regarding same sex sex and pedophilia, none of which should deny anyone their human right to a life without persecution based on their lot in life.

Witch hunting for the sake of extermination opens up a can of worms that humanity no longer needs. Aids is prevelent in the Gay community but it is not a Gay exclusive disease. Where would you stop once you have exterminated all the Gays from your society but Aids still lives? Has history thought us nothing. Mankind needs to focus on education and the sharing of knowledge for the sake of our survival as a species on this planet.
The wicked dark clouds among us rain deception so we may drown in ignorance.
